There has been terrific support for Blackbird Soccer from Australia and Vanuatu. The first day will see a parade of teams, speeches from the Chief, an opening prayer and kick off around 9am. The local health team, the police, West Ambrym Football League, Vanuatu Football Federation, local churches and chiefs, food stall holders and kava stall holders are gearing up for a week of great football, sharing info, raising awareness and finding family blong yumi. There are soccer balls and other supporters gear for sale.  If anyone is in Vanuatu, they would love to see you on Ambrym!
